Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF)
CWF has two groups that meet on the first Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. September-June
Disciples Women/ CWF Purpose:
To provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education, and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the Church of Jesus Christ.
Disciples Women/CWF Scripture:
"We declare to you what we have seen and heard so that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our friendship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ." (1 John 1:3)
Our CWF or Women's Ministries is changing somewhat. We realize that ministries for women need to be more than just monthly group meetings. We have a bible study (except summer months) led by Pastor Lew that is open to all, we will continue to serve bereavement dinners for funerals, we help supply the church kitchen, we hold a Bazaar and luncheon each fall, and raise money for church projects, scholarship support, leadership training, and support of Church Finance Council. One highlight each summer is our 4th of July Ice Cream Social!
